Local SEO for a Dental Practice
How we helped a local dental practice in Lynbrook turn its Google Business Profile into a steady source of new patients — reaching 10,697 profile views and 1,849 patient interactions in just six months (July–December 2024).
The Challenge
The practice offered excellent care, but it was not showing up when local people searched for a dentist. Its Google Business Profile was incomplete, it was not appearing for high-intent searches like "dentist near me", and the phone was not ringing from Google as it should.
Our Approach
We focused on local SEO and the Google Business Profile: optimising categories, services and descriptions, adding fresh photos and regular posts, building a steady flow of patient reviews, making sure the business name, address and phone number were consistent across local directories, and strengthening the website pages that support local searches.
The Results
Between July and December 2024 the profile was viewed 10,697 times and appeared in 2,589 searches, generating 1,849 interactions such as calls, bookings, direction requests and website visits. 81% of views came from Google Search, and the practice now shows up for its most valuable searches: "dentist" (713), "dentist near me" (489) and "dentist Lynbrook" (287).
Key Takeaways
For a local business, a well-optimised Google Business Profile is often the fastest route to new customers. Being visible for "near me" searches, especially on mobile, where 60% of this practice's views came from, turns everyday searches into real calls and bookings.
